G&R tomorrow morning
We have to leave the hotel at 5:30 in the morning to get to Binh Duong at 7:30 for the 8 AM Giving and Receiving Ceremony. That is the official recognition by the Vietnamese government that I am Henry's parent. Then in the afternoon we have the mandatory (and no doubt well needed) medical examination. If all goes well I hope to be home with Henry and my mother by the end of next week.
Last night as I was bathing Henry he wailed loudly and two of the staff fromthe hotel poked their heads in to see what was happening. The one pictured here has been particularly helpful both with Henry and also with turning pineapples we buy into fresh juice for my mother.

Hi Scott & Henry,
Always remember that love will get you through the rough times. Henry will only remember the love you give him and nothing before. Most kids love their baths once they get use to them. Keep your chin up and give lots of hugs and kissed.
I am so glad you are finally having your G&R and will be headed back home soon to start your new life with Henry! He is so adorable!
Scott and Henry,
HURRAY! Annette and Kaiti and I are so happy that you two have each other - finally! We can't wait to see you when you get back.
I think Henry is closer to 16 months than 13 with all those teeth. What a smile - can't wait to hear that little voice. Kaiti is celebrating her 9th birthday today (1 Nov 2007) and says "I think he looks adorable". You know that Kaiti will help him meet the other kids his age here at Sugar Land 1st Ward since she seems to have appointed herself the unofficial ambassador for kiddos.
When are going to fly home?
Now I can keep up to date as I finally wrangled the blog URL from the female types that were not sharing here.
Hope all is well and you guys take good care of Mom/GranBetty OK.
