New Photos....but No News!

Still no news from the government or the agency. It doesn't make sense to me, but then I don't really know what is going on. Everything was certified a month ago, and the law reads that it's seven days after that the G&R is scheduled.

And I haven't gotten any updated reports or photos about Henry since early August. But thankfully the two families who are having their G&R tomorrow and who got their children on Saturday the 29th got to see Henry and were kind enough to send these photos. Thank goodness the families can stick together and help each other out when all else is failing.

He looks about as happy as I am about the way things have progressed. I have enjoyed traveling with my mother, but I have wanted some news of any kind about my case. Now I am up against 29 October when my fingerprints expire. I never dreamed in my worst case scenaios musings that I would be looking at renewing my fingerprints--that date always seemed so far in the future and I thought I would be long home by then.
So now when we get back to Saigon I will have to visit the US Consulate and start the two to three week process of renewing my fingerprints. Thank goodness it can be done over here--I checked that out before we left.

But in the meantime it was really good to get these photos. My mother has been depressed about the way things are going and is confused about why there is no information forthcoming and so little communication.

Oh Scott, I am so sorry. I am hoping and praying hard that Henry is in your arms soon. I hope you are pestering your agency every day. Something really isn't right...

I'm so sorry that things are not going according to the way you planned it all out. I guess that's what you get when dealing with gov. agencies.
Your mother is beginning to look tired.
Henry looks good. Poor little guy wants his Daddy.
I hope things start moving along soon.
