I like rocking chairs, and have several in my house that belonged to my grandparents and my great grandparents. I've even thought of bringing one to the library. I remember being rocked by my mother when I was little, and now I rock Henry in them.

I dressed Henry this morning in his Aggie shirt that my friend Robbin sent him.

Then I sat him in a big rocking chair. He enjoys the three toddler size rocking chairs, but this was the first time I put him in a big one.

He seemed a little confused at first, but he quickly realized that he could brace himself on the arms and shift his weight back and forth.

It was a little bit more effort than the smaller chairs.

But he eventually got it and started rocking back and forth. Here he is in the midst of moving rapidly back and forth.

Scott, congrats on being home with your new son! I am currently in Poland with my newly adopted son. I found out Friday after 8 pm that I also have fingerprint issues. They didn't like the re=dos from San Antonio CIS in December. Can you email me so I can get more info about the process/time frame of printing at the Embassy? Thank you from a fellow Texan! Love the shirt, class of "92! keason70@gmail
Hi Scott-
I too enjoy reading your blog and seeing what you and Henry are up to.
I adopted a little girl a few years ago, and I am a Medical Librarian way up in the northeast.
