The Tail End of Hurricane Gustav
Henry and I awoke to the dying embers of Hurricane Gustav. I'm really glad that it didn't hit the coast as hard as they were expecting--and especially glad to hear that the evacuation was handled with such efficiency.
It was drizzling this morning--Henry enjoyed sticking his hand out and feeling the water. Remembering how wet it was when I was in Saigon, wading through knee high water in the street during a flash rainstorm, I have wondered what his reaction to rain would be. There hasn't been too much of a chance to check it out this summer until now.
This is the sky this morning when I got to work. In Lima they called it "donkey's belly" when they sky is totally covered with gray clouds.
